The office building of the daily newspaper “Die Presse” presents itself as loft-like industrial architecture. The “Presse Lounge”, consisting of a bar, club and meeting room as well as a studio, sets a modern, timeless accent. Clear lines, light wall cladding and high-quality furnishings characterize the rooms, which form a design unit. A well thought-out lighting concept gives the club room a relaxed atmosphere, while the studio features state-of-the-art technology. The outer shell of the newly created rooms forms a “museum wall”, realized as wood panelling. Numerous square panels feature milled-in portraits of clever minds who have written for “Die Presse” over the years, based on designs by artist Lionel Favre, as well as bound editions of the daily newspaper since 1848.
